Landon is one-part educator and one-part artist, with a dash of ‘dad’ thrown in.An incurable creative with a knack for problem-solving, Landon has used his creative talents in the education sector for the past 15 years to educate students and bring new ideas to life.Wearing many different hats, Landon has worked as a teacher, coordinator, administrator, curriculum designer, speaker, and consultant to bring his creativity to students and teachers across four countries. His book, Language in Motion, is used by teachers around the world for integrating drama into instruction. His company, ESL Lifeline, helps thousands of language students access the English language in a fun, engaging way. Landon frequently holds presentations and workshops on implementing new initiatives, teaching international school students, and learning about adolescent development, particularly in the safeguarding field.Landon is currently the principal of the Middle School at East-West International School, a program he helped bring to life. Unique in its organization and highly student-centered, the program encourages learners to think creatively and work collaboratively to explore new ideas and solve problems.He is a dedicated advocate for child safeguarding and education in Cambodia. Serving on the AmCham Education Committee as Vice Chair, Landon actively contributes to policy discussions and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education in Cambodia. He also serves as the CISSA Vice Chair, where he leads initiatives to promote child safeguarding practices among international schools.Above all, though, Landon is truly a life-long learner who embraces the edifying nature of flaws and mistakes. It is through the crucible of fatherhood, though, that has taught Landon the most about what it means to be an educator.
