In this workshop, we will get the opportunity to explore the science behind reading instruction. This interactive and engaging session will explore the latest research on reading, providing educators, administrators and reading specialists with the knowledge and tools necessary to improve literacy outcomes in their schools.    

1. Understand the cognitive processes involved in reading and how that informs instruction.
2. Learn about the five pillars of reading instruction: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
3. Explore evidence-based strategies for teaching reading, including systematic phonics instruction and comprehension-based reading activties.
4. Leave with practical tips and resources for implementing the science of reading in your classroom or school.
