The Magic of AI- Using AI to Support Student Thinking FULL
Saturday January 25, 2025 12:30pm - 1:30pm GMT+07
Using MagicSchool AI we will explore ways to help support students of all ages (G3-12) to challenge their thinking, grow their background knowledge, revise their writing, and more. Teachers will have actionable data and insight into where their students are in any given context. Teachers can decide which tools to leverage and how. This will be a hands on workshop where participants should bring a device (ideally a laptop) and will have time to explore how they can use this in their own classroom.

Understand how to Integrate MagicSchool AI into a UDL framework to significantly enhance the learning experience for all students. Empower both teachers and learners. Provide for continuous learning and responsible implementation.

Leading your class as a group FULL
Saturday January 25, 2025 1:45pm - 2:45pm GMT+07
Within that workshop participants get familiar with the RMD model of classroom behavior management, in order to create a harmonic classroom environment. This model is based on anti aggression training and helps not only creating a comfortable classroom environment, but personal development as well. The workshop introduces the RMD model as an alternative to classical behavioral classroom contracts since it builds social skills of students and is helpful to hold them accountable for their own behavior. The workshop style is a collaborative presentation with an implemented role play to get a clear vision how this model can help teachers to solve conflicts.

Participants get to know:
1. The RMD model as an alternative for classroom contracts
2. How to implement this model in their teaching routine
3. How to effectively and persistently solve conflicts within the class
