In this workshop, educators will explore how storytelling can transform classroom experiences into meaningful opportunities for engagement and authentic learning. Participants will discover how stories—whether shared by teachers, students, or the community—can foster deeper connections, amplify student voice, and create an inclusive environment where everyone feels seen and valued. Educators will leave with practical storytelling techniques and strategies to integrate into their practice, enhancing learning and building community.
Learning Outcomes:
  • Understand storytelling as a powerful tool for fostering engagement and connection in the classroom.
  • Explore strategies for using storytelling to create authentic, inclusive, and student-centered learning experiences.


In this 75-minute workshop, educators will delve into the art and science of storytelling, focusing on its ability to captivate, connect, and transform learning. Through hands-on activities and collaborative discussions, participants will leave inspired and equipped to leverage storytelling to enhance student engagement and belonging in their classrooms.
