This workshop is for teachers working with EAL students who have different language levels. It will present practical strategies to adapt lessons and use teamwork to support learning. Teachers will try hands-on activities, like creating group tasks and lesson plans, to help students of all levels feel included and improve their skills. This session is for teachers who want to learn and share techniques with the presenter and fellow teachers.

This workshop aims to transform the way educators approach mathematics by focusing on strategies to eliminate math anxiety in students. We will explore hands-on activities, collaborative problem-solving techniques, and ways to create a math-positive classroom culture. The workshop will be interactive, including group discussions, role-playing scenarios, and practical demonstrations. The intended audience is elementary and middle school teachers who are passionate about making math accessible, fun, and less intimidating for students of all abilities.

This session will explore the Benefit Mindset and how it empowers students to turn what they learn into real actions, particularly in math. A Benefit Mindset focuses on recognizing and appreciating the positive outcomes of learning, motivating students to apply their knowledge in meaningful ways. We will discuss how helping students see the results of their efforts—such as how math skills can solve everyday problems—encourages active engagement in their education. Participants will learn strategies to inspire students to use their math knowledge in real-world situations, whether at home or within their communities. By connecting classroom learning to practical applications, students can understand the relevance of math and feel more motivated to succeed.

I hope that this workshop will foster a sense of excitement and curiosity among teachers. The activities will help them develop the skills to guide their students in becoming skilled textual detectives. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, such as text annotation and question generation, and explore some close reading techniques.

Workshop Style:
The workshop will be interactive and collaborative, with a focus on practical application. Participants will engage in small-group discussions, whole-group sharing, and individual reflection.

There are four key points:

1. What is Non-cognitive?; 
2. The importance of assessing non-cognitive; 
3. Selecting needed criteria of non-cognitive to assess; and 
4. Three ways of non-cognitive assessments: Observation, Interview, and Self-report. 

This sharing is a kind of oral presentation with actual practices with the audience's real work (for their classes or their lead department dealing with students' non-cognitive matters).
The target audience can be a teacher in elementary - and high school--will be provided as three groups practising and sharing based on the type of students' levels. It can also be non-teachers who deal with supporting students.

- This workshop is intended for high school science teachers.
- The activities require the participants to bring their own computer/tablet for the virtual labs and simulation activities.
- The workshop focuses on the use of virtual labs, simulations, and gamified learning.
- Participants will work in pairs for the virtual lab and simulations activity.
- Participants will gain practical insights, share experiences with others, and leave with digital strategies to enhance their science teaching.

Learning outcomes
1. Participants will be able to effectively incorporate virtual labs, simulations, and gamified tools into their science curricula, enhancing student engagement and understanding of scientific concepts.
